I've been involved with the buffalo industry in one form or another since the early 80"s.

Ries's Tall Grass has been raising bison since 1996. Our operation is 100% grass-fed. We sell bison meat through our meat business, Bluestem Bison LLC. Beginning in January 2025, we consolidated the meat business and raising business into Bluestem Bison LLC.

Brion Enterprise LLC began in 2020 when Lynn Brion formed a partnership with his nephew and nieces: John, Rebecca & Megan Hemling. The four partners, along with their children, work together to farm the land and care for their animals. The 450-acre farm is home to beef and bison which are raised and butchered for their meat. Currently there are approximately 30 bison and 50+ cattle. There are also a few registered beef shorthorns being raised for showing. Our locally-raised and USDA inspected meat can be purchased from us directly. We welcome customers to stop by our store located at the farmhouse to peruse the selection of products in our USDA inspected freezers.

Carie and Jarrod Starr are a husband and wife team. Carie is the full time farmer and Jarrod runs Bisun Consulting and writes REAP grants for fellow farmers. Carie studied environmental science and Jarrod is an Air Force Veteran and accomplished grant writer. Besides bison ranching we enjoy traveling. We are also active members of the Eastern Bison Association. We enjoy educating future ranchers about the joys and adventures of bison ranching.

The Comstock Premier Lodge is owned and operated by Mitch and Roxanne Huggins. The lodge is an 8500 sq ft luxury lodge that sleeps 34. We offer a large variety of hunts and are also a year around Bed & Breakfast. We are located in the center of Nebraska just one hour North of Kearney in the Bohemian Alps of Nebraska.

I've always had a passion for the greatest mammal in North America. My experience working in a National Park in Sulphur, OK led me to purchase my first herd of five bison. I'm excited to grow and learn more about the bison industry.

We are a small family-owned Bison ranch based in Middle TN. We started in the Bison industry in 2017 with quality animals and relocating our entire ranch to TN at the end of 2024. We pride ourselves on the Bison we have purchased over the years and have started the process of keeping the offspring as we set to replace the existing herd in the next few years with what we believe is yet and even greater quality animal than what we started with. We sell grass fed Bison on the rail, quarters, halves and wholes, in limited quantities, annually. We are now also offering small starter herd in limited quantities each fall and spring due to capacity restraints on the ranch. Coming soon select premium bison meat cuts along with value added products which include, Flavored Brats, Hotdogs and Snack Sticks all 100% bison.
