The Prairie Ridge Buffalo Ranch is looking for a summer intern at its Limon, CO location. This person would be working in all aspects of the operation included but not limited to new fence building, fence repair, sorting, working, moving and feeding buffalo, working on maintenance and ranch repairs along with assisting in our tours and cookouts. The position would require long days exposed to the elements which could include hot, cold, and wind. The position would require lifting up to 60 lbs. Intern must be able to operate farm equipment such as tractors and truck with trailers.

The person selected would have an opportunity to learn about buffalo ranching from cow/calf

production, feeding and finishing, marketing and tourism in exchange for a weekly salary of $500, housing and some meals. Days will be 8 to 10 hours long and may include some weekend work. There is some flexibility on the length of internship but estimating 2 to 3 months.
