The Bison Field Necropsy Guide is similar to our Bison Diseases Field Guide in size, which is meant to offer a compact resource for bison health and management. The 57 page publication was recently produced by the NBA’s Science and Research Committee with extra help from Drs. Dave Hunter, Murray Woodbury and Todd Shury. The trio put together a highly valuable tool to reference when pursuing the very important task of taking a necropsy from a deceased animal.
