I’m reaching out from the North American Bison Discovery Center as we gear up for the Great Bison Bash—our annual fundraising dinner and live + simulcast auction on June 10, 2026 in Jamestown, ND.

We’ll have about 200 people in the room, plus online bidders from across the country, with a full night of silent auction, live auction, and raff les—led by Jud Seaman as our auctioneer.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support the Center’s work—helping more people understand the story of bison and why their restoration still matters today.

If you’ve got something you’d be willing to donate—or know someone who might—I’d love to connect.
We’re especially looking for items people can enjoy from anywhere, like:

● Travel packages, airline miles, or hotel stays
● Hunting, fishing, or other guided experiences
● Cabin or vacation home stays
● Private dinners or hosted experiences
● Quality gear, western lifestyle items, or handmade pieces
● Anything unique that’ll get people bidding

If donating an item isn’t the right fit, we’re also looking for event sponsors and cash contributions to help off set event costs—I’m happy to share details.

And if you’ve been meaning to make a trip to Jamestown, this is a great excuse. The event is at the Baymont, with a restaurant and bar attached, and it’s always a fun night to catch up and spend time with good people. I’d truly love to see some familiar faces there.
