International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists Celebration – Virtual Presentations through South Dakota State University

Celebration at McCrory Gardens

The International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists aims to raise awareness of the critical natural resources provided by working land and its role in supporting the livelihoods of people worldwide. The celebration will highlight the role of grasslands for healthy soils, livestock production, wildlife conservation, prairie communities and rural economies in the Northern Great Plains. Please join us for opening remarks by President Barry Dunn, presentations from department faculty and students, and lunch at McCrory Gardens, followed by an open house at the McFadden Biostress Lab.
